Information on Services Offered:
 Therapy:

Dr. Falk makes use of a variety of therapy models as he works to help resolve or improve the particular problems that bring his patients to therapy.  These include cognitive-behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, and family systems models in the context of an inclusive biopsychosocial understanding.  In every case, Dr. Falk attempts to apply the scientist-practitioner model common to clinical psychology, and to utilize current empirically validated treatments whenever possible.  He views the therapy process as a collaborative and co-equal one in which the patient and the therapist share responsibility for the work that occurs and the outcome of that work.  Dr. Falk views himself as a pragmatic therapist who wants to help people change behavior, thoughts, and feelings that aren't helpful or adaptive, and to fully accept themselves and their world as they are in the moment.
